A workshop entitled ‘‘Teaching staff training for KREF’’ was held at the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Medicine from 22nd to 24th October 2021. This activity represents a part of WP 2.3. KREF development of the IQPharm Project.
The representatives from University of Sarajevo (Faculty of Pharmacy), University of Banja Luka (Faculty of Medicine), University of Tuzla (Faculty of Pharmacy), University of Mostar (Faculty of Pharmacy), University of Split (School of Medicine) attended this three-day meeting. The meeting was opened by the Dean of Faculty of Medicine (University of Novi Sad), prof. dr Snežana Brkić, after which the Vice Dean, prof. dr Zoran Komazec introduced the significance of KREF implementation for the evaluation of quality of studies. Furthermore, prof. dr Biljana Božin, prof. dr Milica Atanacković Krstonošić and prof. dr Veljko Krstonošić from the Faculty of Medicine (University of Novi Sad) elaborated the tasks required for successful KREF preparation. Assistant prof. dr Nebojša Kladar shared the experience about conducting KREF exam from the teachers’ aspect. After the discussion regarding aforementioned topics, all the attendees participated in the joint creation of a vignette example for KREF exam. On the second day of workshop, attendees had an opportunity to observe KREF test conduction for the 5th year pharmacy students. Thereafter, ass. prof. dr Nebojša Kladar and ass. Darija Sazdanić presented the test evaluation system and led the discussion regarding individual sudents’ results and statistics. On the third day, the attendees discussed about KREF experience in Novi Sad and challenges expected during its implementation at public universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the end the recommendations for KREF development were established.
