Training for Teaching staff for OSCE – OSCE training workshop held at the School of Medicine, University of Split

From 14th to 17th September 2021, a workshop entitled “Training for Teaching staff for the OSCE – OSCE training workshop” was held at the School of Medicine, University of Split, as part of WP 2.4. OSCE development of the IQPharm project.

On the first day of the workshop, participants had the opportunity to attend the following lectures:

  • doc. dr. sc. Ana Šešelja Perišin – “Introduction to OSCE”
  • dr. sc. Josipa Bukić – “OSCE prerequisite – framework of competencies” and “OSCE blueprint”
  • dr. sc. Doris Rušić – “OSCE preparation – workstations”
  • dr. sc. Dario Leskur – “OSCE preparation – evaluation and reporting”.

The discussion was moderated by prof. dr. sc. Darko Modun.

On the second day of the workshop, participants had the opportunity to attend the OSCE exam for 5th-year pharmacy students at the School of Medicine, University of Split. Participants of the workshop actively participated in all OSCE exam stations.

The third day of the workshop was dedicated to the discussion of the OSCE exam conducted at the School of Medicine, University of Split. During the very constructive discussion, special emphasis was placed on the challenges expected during the implementation of the OSCE exam for pharmacy studies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as strategies for overcoming them.

On the fourth day of the workshop, participants reached joint conclusions and it has been planned to continue the activities related to the implementation of the OSCE exam for pharmacy studies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The workshop was attended by teachers and assistants of the Faculty of Pharmacy – University of Sarajevo, as well as representatives of the Faculty of Medicine –  University of Banja Luka, Faculty of Pharmacy – University of Tuzla, and Faculty of Pharmacy – University of Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina), as well as Faculty of Medicine – University of Novi Sad (Serbia).
