Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE) Implemented at the University of Sarajevo-Faculty of Pharmacy

From 29th May to 2nd June 2023, the Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE) was held for the first time at the University of Sarajevo-Faculty of Pharmacy. The exam is implemented as a result of IQPharm project-Innovating quality assessment tools for pharmacy studies in Bosnia and Herzegovina. OSCE allows the student to practice and demonstrate clinical skills in a standardized scenario. Professor Josipa Bukić from the University of Split supervised the exam. Testing was conducted for 91 students in final year of pharmacy studies and 36 teachers of the Faculty of Pharmacy participated in the implementation of the OSCE exam. Although the exam was stressful for the students, they like idea to improve the current curriculum of teaching subjects in order to improve their skills as future masters of pharmacy.
